Our large oil and gas client's Upstream division is seeking a talented UX Researcher to join our team and drive business strategy through innovative research. You will play a critical role in understanding our users' needs and identifying opportunities for improvement, contributing to the development of groundbreaking energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive research strategies to uncover valuable insights and inform decision-making.
  • Conduct generative and evaluative research, including user interviews, work shadows, focus groups, and usability tests.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to communicate findings and drive impactful solutions.
  • Adapt to dynamic project needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Scope problems and objectives, even when information is incomplete or unclear.
  • Advocate for the value of UX research and design within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading substantial qualitative and mixed methods research projects.
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to clearly convey research findings through compelling presentations and reports.
  • Onsite presence at our campus in Spring, TX is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $70 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match + paid holiday + paid PTO
