Position : Junior Software Engineer

Description : Cymertek is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to support an ongoing development effort for one of our current contracts. This team will provide support and mentorship for the right candidate to truly grow.

Clearance Requirement : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills/Education

• NO experience required with B.S. in a technical role (If no degree, 4 years experience is required.)
• Ideally, candidate will have experience in Java.
• Candidate will be expected to be able to do the following: Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
