AWS DevOps Engineer

We have partnered with our client in their search for an AWS DevOps Engineer.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with our Engineering and Product teams to build quality CI/CD lifecycle solutions, automate deployments, operate our infrastructure and monitor application health and resilience. Additionally, you will participate in:

1. Implementing scalable and secure solutions in AWS
2. Pushing a serverless architecture
3. Driving Infrastructure as Code initiatives
4. Continuous Agile practices
5. Designing end-to-end technical solutions with the Engineering teams
6. Researching and prototyping new solutions
7. Business as usual and client support
8. Maintaining 100% automation coverage
9. Selecting DevOps toolsets

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field.
2. Proven 5+ years of work experience as a Production DevOps Engineer with a concentration on AWS
3. Experience with high-volume real time mobile apps
4. Vast experience with shell scripting on Linux
5. Proficient in DevOps toolsets such as:

• CloudFormation
• Terraform
• CloudTrail
• CloudWatch
• Jenkins
• Jira
• BitBucket
• DataDog
• Splunk
