This site is currently undergoing a large transformation in quality and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. This person is going to be providing technical support to operations to improve customer satisfaction and quality-related performance of the business. This role will also provide support for quality related root cause analysis, customer complaint communications, non-conforming product dispositioning, and technical continuous improvement programs. In addition, the quality engineer will use data analysis, technical knowledge, and a strong quality mindset to support the product quality and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Applied knowledge and experience working with Quality Management System requirements such as ISO 9001:2015.
- Experience interfacing with Customers and Suppliers on quality and technical issues.
- Experience leading root cause analysis and developing effective corrective/preventative actions.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Statistical Analysis software (MiniTab or JMP preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency conducting Measurement System Analysis.
- Delivers clear verbal and written message to both a diverse audience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desired.
