Role: Pega Developer
Location: Hoboken, NJ
Duration: Fulltime

Overview:

Perform workflow development and design activities to support the client's applications and ensuring the highest software standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop applications based on Pega 5.5 and Pega 6.3.
2. Apply development skills and technology during development.
3. Design, develop, prototype, and test the required subsystem and its interface to the system.
4. Manage the day-to-day activities working with a small team of software developers.
5. Interface with project stakeholders to ensure that the system objectives are balanced with overall project objectives.
6. Provide design ideas to the leadership of the project team.
7. Represent the team as required.
8. Assist management in the development of design policies and procedures which improve the ability to meet requirements.
9. Communicate with peers and supervisors routinely, document work, meetings, and decisions.
10. Work within a Project Team environment.
11. Understand and promote the quality policy.
12. Maintain technical skills and awareness of technical improvements.

Requirements:

1. In-depth hands-on experience on Pega 5.5 and Pega 6.3.
2. Very good communication and client-facing skills.
3. Understanding the business requirements and interpreting them from Pega PRPC perspective.
4. Support client communications with both business and architecture teams for functional clarifications and design discussions.
5. Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
6. Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player.
7. Passionate about building high-quality systems.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical skills to identify alternatives, present options, and make recommendations to meet project goals.
10. Good problem-solving abilities.
