Lead Mechanical Test Engineer

SAIC is seeking a Lead Mechanical Test Engineer to join our expanding team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Propulsion Test Facility in Newport, RI. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and project management skills to oversee the testing process from concept to analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and 3-5 years of experience, and be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance. Proficiency in CAD software, technical writing, and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems are required. Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and five (5) or more years of experience OR M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and three (3) or more years of experience.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SECRET level clearance.
• Experience with CAD software, technical writing, and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing deadlines and priorities.
