Responsibilities:
This position is located in the Material Readiness Department (N43) of the Commander, Naval Surface Force Pacific (COMNAVSURFPAC) at NAB Coronado, CA. Efforts include balancing current readiness against life cycle, corrective maintenance, modernization and operational schedules and provide expert advice to Senior Navy Leadership at the Type Commander level for pragmatic decision making. Salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000 per year.
Requirements:

• US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in/with Surface, Submarine, or Aircraft Carrier maintenance and modernization planning and execution. (prior 3MC or SMO experience a plus).
• A working knowledge of current Fleet maintenance procedures associated with published Navy directives, including the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office products specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally including briefing senior Navy leadership
• Ability to visit ships and various shipyards-shipboard visits could range from 4-10 hours
• Ability to occasional travel to various areas of responsibilities
• Expert knowledge of specific class ships
