CNC Programmer contract opportunity in the Greenville/Spartanburg area. Great opportunity to work on 1st shift at a major Client. Pay is $30.00 Per Hour.
CNC Programmer Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programmer Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC machines using MasterCAM, with a focus on 5-axis programming for precision manufacturing.
- Operate and maintain CNC mills, manual mills, lathes, saws (both vertical and horizontal), and grinding machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
- Modify and evaluate tools, fixtures, and equipment, documenting changes and improvements clearly.
- Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to address project needs and timelines.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of materials, including plastics, steels, stainless steels, and aluminum, to optimize manufacturing processes and post-treatment methods.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while managing multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in MasterCAM, with a preference for 5-axis experience.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and material properties.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of strong work ethic and responsiveness to customer needs.
