Job Title: Security Engineer

Position: Security Engineer II

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Duration: end of 2016 with possible extension

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent work experience is required. Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college requested.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst or related field required.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of RBAC access control systems required.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of MAR/SOC1/SOC2/PCI compliance required.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of Security Methodologies required.
8. Comprehensive knowledge of core security technologies required.
9. Comprehensive knowledge of information security principles and leading practices required.
10. Comprehensive knowledge of applications/systems/databases required.
11. Comprehensive knowledge of application access control systems and leading practices required.
12. Comprehensive knowledge of access control certifications required.
13. Comprehensive knowledge of ABAC authorization policy services required.
14. Comprehensive knowledge of LDAP server protocol, operation, and administration required.
15. Comprehensive knowledge of MS SQL databases, SQL language, and JDBC protocol required.
16. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows/Linux/AIX/Mainframe operating systems required.
17. Basic knowledge of identity attributes and process architecture/design preferred.
18. Basic knowledge of identity management systems and leading practices required.
19. Basic knowledge of network and endpoint security and leading practices required.
20. Ability to encourage and promote cooperation, understanding, trust, and credibility required.
21. Ability to lead projects and produce run-book documentation, including procedures and job-aids required.
22. Outstanding organizational skills are required with the ability to be involved in multiple projects and priorities required.
23. CISSP, CISM or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing skills of Cyber Security Operations Staff.
2. Assist in application onboarding to centralized security management.
3. Assist in development/management of RBAC roles.
4. Lead performing periodic access reviews/inactivity reviews.
5. Develop subject matter expert skills in user security for applications and systems.
6. Consulting with project teams and BCBST employees regarding corporate leading practices.
7. Application and platform security analysis with core security technology.
8. Incident and problem resolution.
9. Analysis of core application/system security accesses.
10. Other responsibilities as needed.
