DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Development on new applications, providing research into new technologies
- Development on contributions to Nintendo's core libraries and tools
- Writes correct and clean code to defined specifications
- Debugs code effectively within primary area
- Effectively and proactively documents work
- Collaborates with peer groups at Nintendo Co., Ltd. (NCL) and its subsidiaries
- Participates as a key contributor to the hiring process
- Up to 10% travel; domestic and international
- 2+ years related experience
- Proficiency with C++ is a requirement
- Solid knowledge of application software design
- Experience with Linux development is a requirement
- Experience with audio/video streaming (such as webrtc) is a plus
- Experience with Qt (or other UI framework) is a plus
- Performs code reviews, technical design reviews, and test plan reviews
- Scopes and executes delivery of modules involving multiple engineers
- BS or MS in engineering or equivalent
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $115,152 - $172,728 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
