Job Description:

Position Summary:
The System Test Engineer will be working within the system test team and collaborating with a cross-functional team to test and commercialize Stereotaxis products. The role will be working alongside various engineering disciplines and participating in development of test cases used for design verification and design validation activities in an ever-changing environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Electrical Engineers to thoroughly understand the customer/system requirements and how they are implemented.
  2. Working with development teams, author test cases and analyze hardware and software design for adequate observability and test coverage (Design for Test).
  3. Develop comprehensive test cases to cover all requirements and supplemental testing and conduct system end-to-end testing according to developed test documentation.
  4. Build and test a total end-to-end test infrastructure, from source to destination, using resources contained in a single lab or shared among multiple labs. Duties would include provisioning computers, loading required software, and configuring required systems.
  5. Execute additional value add system testing.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or other related degree highly preferred.
  2. 1-2+ years’ experience in a system test role is preferred.
  3. Good understanding of software development/testing concepts and processes for software and hardware developed per relevant standards (i.e., ISO, CE, FDA, etc.).
  4. General understanding of programming/scripting languages such as C++, Matlab, Perl, Python, Java is preferred.
  5. Experience with test requirements and defect management tools such as Helix Issue Management/Test Case Management/Requirements Management, Salesforce is preferred.
  6. Knowledge or use of medical equipment such as Fluoro, ECG, and Mapping devices.
  7. Legally authorized to work in the United States.

This role is an in-office position at Stereotaxis’ headquarters.
