About The Role
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing multiple web application integrations and customizations as needed to QuickBase, our core business platform. You will work cross-functionally in a dynamic role that impacts a lot of aspects of the business from early-stage development to managing and operating utility-scale solar and storage facilities.We have a strong preference of finding a candidate in the Boise, Idaho market. At this time, we will accept applications for a remote employee, but application review will potentially be delayed.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate current web application use and identify areas to improve existing functionality and workflow.
- Plan and develop application enhancements and specific platform integrations.
- Develop web application integrations, customizations, and automations.
- Perform programming duties on QuickBase and current application environment to improve overall functionality and usability.
- Develop automated monthly data reporting tools from multiple applications to QuickBase.
- Build custom reporting templates and graphic displays.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
- Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
- Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience using programming languages like Django, JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Technology: High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
- Skills/Attributes:
- Proficient coding ability in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to build APIs for data pipelining and integration.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to identify and solve complex technical problems and build solutions that drive the business forward.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
