Responsibilities
- Analyze and perform security infrastructure risk assessment
- Conduct cyber threat management and analysis
- Verify that there are controls as required by Citi security policies and standards
- Manage enterprise clustered firewalls and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues and outages
- Provide individual leadership in the realm of troubleshooting major incidents and problem management
- Adhere to Citi's Corporate, Information Security and other functional standards and controls
- Produce high quality documentation, schematics and presentation materials as needed
- Collaborate with Citi security developers on internally developed tools for telemetry gathering and data visualization efforts
- Support the Observability tool by maintaining and troubleshooting Grafana dashboards
Qualifications
- 6+ years' hands-on Network Security experience with Firewalls, ACL’s, intrusion detection, proxies, vulnerability scanning, DNS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM platforms, etc.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls and SASE (e.g., Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Zscaler, etc.)
- Experience working with Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.
- Strong understanding of network security frameworks (e.g., NIST)
- Scripting experience required (Python highly preferred)
- Prior networking experience with routing/switching, LAN, WAN, etc. inclusive of modern network virtualization concepts at a professional level proficiency is preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experience
- One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto firewalls, CISSP or CCNA/CCNP
