Senior Software Engineer/Developer

Brief Overview Of Position

Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking a candidate for a Senior Software Engineer/Developer role to support the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) client where we are focused on delivering innovative professional Information Technology (IT) services. Positions require onsite support in facilities located in Washington, DC in addition to telework.

Description Of Duties

1. Support a team of software developers, database administrators/developers and business analysts in providing professional IT services to perform operations, maintenance, and enhancements for a specific NIFA grants management system.
2. Support a team in meeting the operations, maintenance, and enhancement objectives of the NIFA Reporting System (NRS) custom software application.

Education, Experience, And Security Requirements

1. 7 (seven) years of Senior Software Developer experience.
2. Competency with Java Spring Framework, ReactJS, Gitlab, GitHub.
3. Experienced in DevSecOps Platform consisting of Redhat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Docker.
4. Competency with MySQL and Oracle.
5. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Moderate or High Risk.
