Job Details

Civil Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Perform civil design calculations and prepare construction plans, exhibits, reports and other documents.
• Use AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and other design software to plan and design projects to be in line with industry and government standards.
• Meet with Team Leads and/or Project Managers to review project development and assess any issues.
• Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in risk analysis for a project
• Construct and submit permit applications to local and state agencies, verifying that projects comply with various regulations
• Provide construction cost estimates.
• Use of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Requirements

• Civil Design Engineer with preferably 2-6 years of professional design experience.
• Well-versed with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and hands on experience with Hydraulic Analysis.
• An E.I.T. and/or P.E. certification preferred. Commercial, Industrial and Residential experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
