Akkodis is seeking a Separable/Mechanical Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Evendale OH 45215 . We’re ideally looking for applicants to have a solid background in the Mechanical industry.
Pay Range: $38-$45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Separable design engineer
Rake design – Mechanical feature that inserts into a flow path, that will take the some of the pressure form the airflow and measure temp on ANSYS.
More mechanical
They would not put the sensor on working with mechanics it would go out to test and at test if there is a design problem they would be the ones with the troubleshooting problems and understand what the root cause may be. Knowledge of optics is nice as well as some like of electrical work but this is more of a Mechanical role.
Experience
Fresh out or 1 year for separable
Workload
Separable designer will be busy working between projects some may take days the others may take weeks
Both will be fairly busy working on projects
Top 3 must haves to perform the Job:
Need mechanical aptitude
Microsoft efficient
Experience with instrumentation/design tools
Needs some type of 3D modeling design tool such as NX, CAD, etc.
Software Knowledge:
-Tip Sensor
Teamcenter
ANSYS – can be taught
Services Required: Support the Tip Sensor and Separable Instrumentation Engineering (TSSI sub-section) in Evendale, with designing instrumentation application on commercial and military jet engine components. This includes defining shop modifications to engine hardware to allow for instrumentation application and lead routing, providing application planning to the Test Measurement Operations (TMO) lab or Instrumentation Application Shop (IAS), and supporting TMO/ the IAS with application.
