Position: DevOps Engineer
As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of infrastructure for systems such as Continuous Integration/Deployment, Source Control, Build Systems, Artifact Repositories, and other systems for production and test environments both physical and cloud. You will also plan, build, and implement test automation solutions for medical device software. Through collaboration and frequent interaction with product managers, software developers, software architects, test architects, and project managers, you will create and execute automated test scripts to deploy builds, verify code, and validate correct functionality of the applications. You are self-motivated and like to create new processes and optimize existing ones. This is an excellent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer interested in working on innovative software and improving the lives of millions of patients through our cancer care software across the globe.
You are responsible for:
- Creating, maintaining, and improving existing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Development (CD) pipelines.
- Test automation with CI/CD tools.
- Maintaining version control repository.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining deployment automated test scripts.
- Performing root cause analysis for production errors.
- Investigating and resolving technical issues.
- Creating automation test plans and test summary reports.
- Defect tracking, resolution, and communicating results to team members.
- Monitoring and ensuring automated processes run as expected.
- Monitoring, updating, and deploying nodes for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Working with internal groups to identify and resolve any issues identified during testing.
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Building AWS, Azure, or similar infrastructure.
- Administering Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or a related technical field), or equivalent work experience.
- Good written and verbal communication (English), and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on assigned tasks under tight time constraints.
- Scripting language experience.
- Understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional work experience.
- Experience with cloud deployments and environments.
- Experience in PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Experience in GUI test automation.
