The position is contract-to-hire. The requirement is for the candidate to be physically located in the Miamisburg OH office. We want US Citizens only.
Position: SharePoint Online Developer / .NET Developer
Description: Seeking a SharePoint Developer who has expertise with developing applications in SharePoint Online. This position is for a hard-core developer who is proficient in building custom solutions on top of SharePoint Online, as well as developing web sites in .NET.
The solution is an internal Asset Repository where Teradata business users can submit important corporate assets which can be accessed by the whole company. An asset can be any type of document (Office files, PDF, Vizio charts, Executables, videos, etc.) The asset submission process leverages a robust set of custom metadata and complex workflows. This solution is designed to encourage submission of assets, and people who contribute assets have the potential to be rewarded financially if enough other people in the company reuse their asset. There are also financial incentives for people who actively search for an existing asset which meets their needs, rather than "reinventing the wheel". SharePoint Online is being leveraged as the tool to record the contribution, enhancement, and reuse of assets.
The solution pushes metadata into an Azure SQL database. Office 365 Compliance Center audit logs are also harvested and fed into Azure SQL. Likewise, the data from Azure is then transferred to our internal Teradata Data Warehouse via SSIS for complex reporting. A supplemental website which was developed in .NET provides a custom navigation experience to make it easier for users to quickly drill down to the best assets which meet a specific use case.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in being able to extend and customize SharePoint Online
- Proficient in .NET web site development (C# and ASP.NET)
- MVC and Entity Framework
- Nintex Online Workflow Engine
- SQL Server T-SQL
- CSOM
- KQL and custom search pages
- Strong HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript skills, as well as experience with Responsive Design (i.e. Bootstrap)
- PowerShell
- Experience with Office 365 API
- Experience with Graph API a plus
- Experience with SharePoint Patterns and Practices (PnP) a plus
- Strong ability to interact with business and technical users
- Agile SCRUM
- Strong desire to succeed and do whatever is necessary to meet the deadlines and commitments of the Sprint
