Job Description
We are looking for Product Engineer Interns to join our 2025 summer internship program in Graham, KY!
An internship at Ensign Bickford Aerospace and Defense (EBAD) provides real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you while collaborating with industry experts to solve real-world challenges!
Responsibilities/daily duties:
- The Product Engineer Interns will work within our Manufacturing Operations in support of all aspects of product engineering including, but not limited to:
- continuous improvement
- development of Standard Work packages
- lean cell conversion and statistical process control implementation
- manufacturing cell design
- Assist in solving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures, and implementing corrective actions
- Assist in the Implementation of Lean methodologies including standard work, point of use tooling, material presentation, and process improvements
- Interface with production personnel including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors
- Work on robust projects that prepare you for a full-time opportunity after graduation
- Showcase your project outcomes to leadership at the end of the summer
- Socialize through teambuilding and networking events
- Candidate pursuing an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Experience with CAD and hands on experience using manufacturing tools preferred
- Robust projects with positive business impact
