Project Engineer

About the Company

We are delighted to be partnered with a leading renewable energy company who are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.

Working closely with the PMO and Construction teams, you will be responsible for delivering the highest level of quality assurance and engineering on deliverables for capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Review technical submittals from all vendors and coordinate the review and sign-off process with internal stakeholders.
• Analyze change requests from system or technology providers, provide feedback, and communicate updates to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
• Participate in weekly meetings with Project Managers to provide updates on all technology and system packages.
• Standardize technical solutions, such as standardized containers for pump houses or offices.
• Coordinate with Process and Commissioning Engineers to ensure plant control integration meets expectations.
• Collect all documentation from major equipment and technology suppliers, including operations and maintenance manuals, installation drawings, installation instructions, and process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Maintain up-to-date and quality documentation with documentation control during the project, construction, and commissioning stages.
• Provide technical clarifications or decisions to the construction team and contractors when there is a lack of clarity or specifications in documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and 5 years of related engineering experience.
