Job Title: CNC Laser OperatorResponsibilitiesOperate the CNC laser cutting machine to provide parts to the fabrication department.Set up and operate the CNC CO2 Laser (Prima Power Platino 1530 with 4kW Convergent Laser).Edit and program the laser.Understand machine setup including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, and materials.Perform start-up and shut down procedures for laser machines.Diagnose machining problems and make necessary modifications.Operate overhead cranes, tape measures, calipers, and hand tools.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year of CNC Laser experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.Proficient in interpreting blueprint and engineering drawings.Experience with machine setups and upkeep.Ability to troubleshoot machines.Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior forklift experience is preferred.Brake press experience is a plus.Programming skills are desirable.Why Work Here?We offer a great work environment that is clean, safe, and climate-controlled.
