About The Position

Salary range: $125k - $155K

Responsibilities

1. Works on highly complex project systems requiring innovative, original solutions.
2. Technical planning, estimates, tracks & completes projects on time and within budget.
3. Results are key to successful completion of projects/programs.
4. Teach and train younger technical staff.
5. Works mostly independently with minimal supervision.
6. Provides guidance to the team.
7. Exercises initiative/judgment in work methods and in interpreting goals.
8. Responsible for substantial proposal writing sections and design review data packages.
9. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an area/system with a detailed understanding of how multiple systems interact.
10. Familiar with and understands space industry standards.
11. Familiar with and understands mil/aero industry standards is a plus.
12. Develops innovative solutions to unique problems.
13. Technical accomplishments recognized at design reviews and within the site in the area of expertise.
14. Crafts effective technical paths to capture significant follow-on business.
15. Effectively trains/mentors work group and leads work teams.
16. Delivers effective presentations to general audiences and writes convincing proposals/reports with necessary backup material.
17. Resolves divergent technical opinions within team and customer.
18. Independently executes system requirements management, system architecture, gate reviews, V&V, launch, and flight operations, or modelling of mission engineering.
19. Leads system failure root cause corrective action investigations, providing technical influence over company direction and customer.
