What do we do?
Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. Systems can be tailored to meet a variety of requirements for bandwidth, dynamic range, number of channels, and computational resources. Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and submarines. Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.
What will you do?
Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Senior Electronics Technician. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, FL, facility with occasional travel to Fairfax, Virginia. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:
Responsibilities for this job may include:

• Assembly, integration, and test of complex component and system level electronic assemblies
• Drawing interpretation and wire diagram comprehension
• Troubleshooting test failures and performing component rework
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, take initiative and work well with internal and external customers
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Detail oriented and able to independently execute tasks
• Knowledge and experience operating oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and signal generators

Basic Requirements

• US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement
• Minimum 8-years hands-on manufacturing experience in an electronics assembly, test and troubleshoot role

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of electronics or aerospace manufacturing experience
• Experience with hand soldering
• IPC-610 certification
• J-STD 001 certification
• Experience in an ESD and FOD controlled environment
• Experience and knowledge of printed circuit boards, surface mount technology and RF principles
