Our culture of performance excellence, ethics, teamwork and inclusion is embedded in everything we do.THE WORKThe successful candidate will join a diverse Engineering and Technology team at RMS Mitchel Field, and support Trident Navigation program and initiatives related to test lab and equipment configuration management for integration and test events.RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will require the individual to perform the following responsibilities:Support Lab Event Scheduling and Daily ReportingSupport Lab Equipment and Infrastructure Schedule Maintenance Procedures, installation and removalSupport Fleet Equipment Return InvestigationsManage and maintain equipment integrity, configuration, and set up in a classified environment.Support Leadership Meetings through status and presentation buildReview and execute to Program Test plans and proceduresBe available to support emergent needs should there be a facility shut down or catastrophic failure (e.g. weekends and nights)Support internal and external auditsWHO WE AREYou will provide Test Lab support to a diverse cross-functional group of Operations and Engineering professionals that spread across multiple programs within the Trident Navigation portfolio.WHO YOU AREYou are an individual contributor who excels at tackling equipment configuration issues and meeting program deadlines. You will work effectively throughout the RMS E&T organization, both vertically and horizontally, to build strong working team relationships in advancing program deliverables that meet program and customer expectations.Basic Qualifications:Experience with Navigation Electronic system operation, testing and standard maintenance procedures.Knowledge of special test equipment and simulator setup to support event testing (e.g. ability to follow test equipment procedures).Experience with PCs, Laptops, Tablets, and Hand-held computing devicesKnowledge of and experience with Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Test MetersAbility to perform both Copper / Fiber building / repairDesired Skills:Bachelors degree in an Engineering Discipline with 1+ year of lab and field experienceAbility to proactively identify process improvement opportunities for existing procedures and departmental operationsHands-on experience troubleshooting and repair.Knowledge/experience with Special Test Equipmentt Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds of materialSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offThe base range for this position in New York is $95,817.77 - $152,867.35.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
