Senior Systems Engineer

What You'll Do:
Troubleshooting Guru: Diagnose and prioritize multiple technical issues, crafting and executing remediation plans to minimize downtime and ensure seamless business continuity. Your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly!
Innovative Solutions Designer: Independently design, configure, implement, and support a cutting-edge suite of tools tailored to meet our evolving organizational needs. Your creativity will drive our technological advancement!
Collaborative Partner: Work closely with remote teams, leveraging high-level guidance to accomplish tasks with precision and autonomy. We value your input and encourage you to share ideas that push boundaries.
Tech Support Champion: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems and workstations, using your extensive technical knowledge to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Knowledge Builder: Develop comprehensive documentation to detail the utilization of Endpoint Engineering's systems, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Security Advocate: Enforce and implement standards that align with rigorous security and compliance requirements. Your vigilance will help us maintain our integrity.
Tech Evaluator: Evaluate new hardware and software solutions, providing recommendations and overseeing procurement to meet our organizational needs.
System Maintenance Expert: Actively participate in system maintenance to ensure our systems are always up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
Lifelong Learner: Pursue ongoing technical skill development in systems administration to effectively support our dynamic IT environment. We're committed to your growth!
Flexible Support: Be ready to work occasional irregular hours to support critical functions and office maintenance when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
- A strong commitment to continuous learning and a passion for acquiring new skills.
- Experience with macOS and Windows (Linux is a plus!).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience in creating automations for endpoint management.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Qualys and MDM tools for endpoint management.
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure Cloud environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is a valuable asset.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements and responding to audit requests.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Proven ability to work independently and responsibly, with a knack for prioritizing and multitasking effectively.
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
