Description:

1. Client Interactive Search and Shopping Platforms group is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join its engineering team.
2. Candidate will be doing technical design, writing code, and developing the sites, tools, and services that power Search.com, mySimon.com, and many more new and exciting sites.
3. This Software Engineer must be a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with a proven track record of delivering the highest quality, scalable solutions.
4. Candidate will need to be flexible, smart, and tenacious.
5. Candidate will be working regularly with Business, QA, Design, and other Engineering team members to define and develop solutions and features, so top-notch communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining large consumer-facing web sites.
2. Solid experience with the whole SDLC, from project inception through development to maintenance.
3. Superior object-oriented architecture and design skills.
4. Solid professional experience with a range of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JS, Java/JSP, PHP), preferably using Symphony or other PHP framework.
5. Proficiency working with Apache or Nginx web servers and within Linux development environments.
6. Solid experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, preferably MySQL and MongoDB.
7. Experience leading small project teams.
8. Experience effectively mentoring other engineers.
9. Experience leading and participating in code reviews.
10. Self-motivated and accountable.
11. Strong and effective communication skills.
12. Proficiency with software version control, build and deployment technologies (Git, SVN, Bamboo, RPM).
13. Experience with Agile or other similar development methodologies.

Pluses:

1. Proficiency with HTML5/CSS3 with understanding and demonstrated abilities of the balance between responsive design.
2. Experience with A/B testing.
