Responsibilities:

This position requires an ability to see a project through from start to finish, working directly with the client to understand their vision. This will include documentation from existing conditions through to completion of construction level drawings, preparation of vision boards, assisting clients in person on selection of fixtures and finishes, and working collaboratively with our production team to assemble estimated construction costs in the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation phases. Candidate must be able to lead a team of assistant designers to create creative and inspiring spaces. As a Design-Build firm, Designer responsibilities include construction administration through the construction process.

Position will require the use of the following software:

  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • SketchUp
  • Gather It
  • Adobe InDesign/Acrobat
  • MS Office

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Residential Design Environment
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must have a vehicle as Lead Designer goes out for site-visits.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other design and construction professionals.
  • Comfortable working on several projects varying in size and complexity.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients daily.
  • Desire to create award-winning residential design.
  • Residential design award is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of local zoning and building codes.
  • A background in the construction industry is a plus.
