Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

1. Advise management on opportunities and assessed risks.
2. Develop and publish architecture reference material and design patterns to drive designs for consensus and approval, being able to translate easily from technical to non-technical language.

Requirements:

1. 6+ years of experience implementing or architecting high performing, resilient and scalable enterprise systems.
2. Played a key role in an architecture or development or testing organization.
3. Core Java, Angular, Containerization, cloud, React.
4. Expertise in applications using React, Java EE, Spring MVC, Selenium, ALM, qTest, Angular, node.js.
5. Knowledge of Application servers like Jboss EAP, Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere.
6. Knowledge of Secure coding practices.
7. Knowledge of code quality assurance tools like SonarQube.
8. Experience with GIT/Bitbucket.
9. Proficient with DevOps / CICD and code packaging tools like Maven.
10. Experience in working in an Agile team and using JIRA (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices).
11. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Desired skills:

1. Agile tools (Jira).
2. Automation testing.

Pay Range: $50.45 - $58.45
