About Our Client
My client is a CNC machining manufacturer that offers services such as turning, milling, threading, and drilling, primarily serving the industrial, hydraulic, medical, aerospace, and electronics sectors. Operating within a tight-knit job shop environment spanning over 30,000 sq. ft. of advanced machinery, they provide substantial opportunities for growth and advancement. Despite being a smaller company, employees have the rare opportunity to learn directly from the President and Owner, both of whom possess extensive industry experience.
Job Description
- Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Oversee daily quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and measurement processes.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and products to identify improvements and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor quality control personnel on quality assurance procedures, product specifications, and measurement techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers to define quality requirements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and certifications.
- Stay informed of industry trends and advancements in quality control practices, incorporating best practices into the organization.
The Successful Applicant
- Machining and job shop background
- Gage calibration experience
- ERP experience
- Familiarity with ISO 9001
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

- Salary range between $75,000 - $85,000
