MoodysNWC is seeking Mobile Application Developer. The Mobile Developer is responsible for designing/coding creative and scalable software solutions that address business/technical needs in ever changing competitive market. Developers help to define architecture and technology standards and maintain best practices for mobile apps. She or He will provide guidance and direction to project teams to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
We are looking for the candidate will help deliver the next generation of mobile app data solutions and features. We want you to work with business stakeholders and deliver awesome mobile experience to our customers. We value skills delivering and working with Open Source tools and infrastructure. Position Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Native Android app development
- Perform detail technical design and implementation of complex android applications
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for technical teams
- Work closely with Product, Dev, and Backend teams to build consumer facing products, platforms, and features
- Experience with managing a distributed delivery team
- Improve product quality through code reviews, writing effective unit tests
Experience/Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Thorough conceptual and hands-on knowledge of various Architectural patterns as it relates to complex Android and progressive web apps.
- 6+ years of strong object oriented application development experience
- 4+ years of complex android mobile application development experience
- Proficient in Java with experience in memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices
- Solid grasp of Android networking and REST Web Services
- Experience with data collection or Analytic solutions for mobile apps
- Strong understanding of version control platforms (gitlab preferred)
- Ability to produce clear artifacts and documentation
- Strong understanding of framework dependencies
- Experience and understanding of large and complex code bases and architectures.
- Experience in API design, SDK architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education:
- · BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from 100k/year in our lowest geographic market up to 150k/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
