The opportunity

This is a rapidly growing area, so you will have plenty of opportunity to develop your skillset to keep up with the ever-growing demands of the digital landscape. Most of your time will be spent embedded with our clients’ teams, providing a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive with cloud technologies.

Cloud strategy services may include helping clients develop the business case/cloud strategy; cloud readiness assessments across key domains; designing and building cloud governance and controls; and cloud architecture services to enable access to configurable computing resources.

Lastly, as clients ramp up their cloud environments, we provide cloud optimization services to drive scale and optimal use of CSP services.

Your key responsibilities

You will focus on the evaluation, strategy, design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud Technology based solutions. You will team with various EY groups to pursue and deliver digital engagements. Part of your role will be to support the sales cycle for new projects and lead junior team members.

• Interacting and communicating effectively with stakeholders

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of work experience in consulting or project-based environments
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in cloud computing technology
• 1 or more years of technical experience in at least three areas: application development, data and analytics, network configuration, etc.
• 1 or more years of technical experience in at least one of the following platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Services
• Hands-on with DevOps tools and processes
• Strong understanding of information technology automation principles
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Proficiency with IaC tools
• Strong communication, presentation, and technical writing skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Degree emphasis in Business with MIS, Computer Science, or related fields
• Certifications and prior consulting experience preferred
