Job Requirements / Description
We're a small team based in San Francisco with a few colleagues remote around the world. We have a hybrid office culture with 1 day/week at home and 4 in our office, SF. We're looking to grow our small team based in SF and looking to hire candidates already based in the bay area or willing to relocate.
What we're looking for
- A developer or data scientist with a growth product mindset
- 5+ years experience implementing business data science solutions
- A knack for knowing how to use data to solve business problems - from data collection to insight to solution implementation
- Knows the market. You can empathize with all of the ways different personas interface with data at a company from CEOs to front-line sales and customer support folks.
- Knowing what, how, and when to implement analytics solutions
- Someone with creative pursuits, bloggers, academics, aspiring data journalists, open-source contributors
Your responsibilities
- Growth - help us find the highest leverage way to distribute our product and grow our customer base. Anything is on the table, outbound, inbound, content marketing, paid, etc.
- Product - contribute to core product discussion and help drive our roadmap. Suggest product features to help with distribution and growth.
- Community - help us prioritize our community strategy. Be an active participant in data science forums, contribute to our own Slack/Reddit/Discord etc.
- Help establish Patterns as an authoritative analytics company.
- Contribute to our blog with engaging technical content covering a variety of subjects, such as — describing a use case for Patterns, an analysis of an open dataset, an explanation of a new data partners capabilities, etc.
- Help with performance tracking and technical implementation
