A Chicago-based startup is looking for a Founding Engineer to build a greenfield application for the procurement space. This is a full-time position, hybrid 2-3 days in office in Chicago.

In this role, you'll be joining a team working on their core product which was launched in the last 12 months. The team is lean, so you'll have the chance to wear multiple hats, contribute across the stack, and substantially impact the business. You'll have a say in architectural decisions, interact with customers to determine needs, and help the company scale. The compensation package will include equity to make growth that much more exciting. Their stack is React, TypeScript, Next.js, Apollo GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Experience in the startup space with greenfield development would be beneficial. If lacking, a strong degree and experience at a tech forward company will be ideal.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• 2+ years of experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• Experience with greenfield development
• Exceptional communication skills
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
