We are actively seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to handle responsibilities of the QMS, manage calibration and document control systems. This candidate will also assist with internal audits and work with the Quality Manager and other members of our team across multiple departments.

Job Duties include:

  • Manage the company's Calibration Program
  • Manager Document Control
  • Assist with revamping existing procedures and the development of new processes and associated documentation
  • Assist with Internal and External Customer audits
  • Corrective Actions and Root Cause Analysis
  • Supplier monitoring/performance and development from the quality perspective
  • Work on Continuous Improvement projects
  • Work with cross functional teams frequently to address quality needs

The Candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field, or experience commensurate
  • Must be a certified auditor for ISO-9001-2015
  • Strong Communication and Coordination skills
  • Experience with ERP software
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to create training and teach others
  • Great people skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Top level Reliability and Accountability
  • Must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident (due to ITAR requirements)

Presence: This position will begin as 100% on site at first, with an expectation that within a few months the job would be a hybrid position, with approximately 3 days on site and 2 days off site. Our location is in Southwestern Oakland County.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to get around a shop environment, examine items, use hands and eyes to make assessments, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally bend, stoop or carry light items

We requires all new hires submit and pass a pre-employment drug screen (including for marijuana, as we are a federal contractor) and background check prior to beginning employment.
