Looking for an experienced Automation and Controls Engineer with a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering. This role offers the opportunity to fully utilize expertise in automation and controls within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot HMI systems to ensure efficient operations
- Program, edit, update, and troubleshoot PLCs, with a focus on Allen Bradley systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, management, and engineering, to drive continuous improvements
- Develop and maintain process control documentation, ensuring seamless workflow and compliance with industry standards
- Manage and troubleshoot electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 122KV AC
- Integrate and maintain SCADA systems for remote communication solutions
- Provide technical training and support to team members to ensure proper process control and system operation
- 80% facility based with 20% local/regional travel
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience in automation and controls
- Proven experience in automation and controls engineering, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Strong expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Knowledgeable in SCADA integration and HMI design
- Strong communication and client interfacing skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with automation in industries with varying voltage requirements
- Previous roles that involved developing and supporting process documentation
- Experience with HVAC and Pump systems is preferred
