Machinist - CNC and Manual Horizontal Boring Mill - 2 Openings!

Pay range: $24 - $28 (depending on experience)
Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 pm
Must have experience running a CNC or Manual Horizontal Boring Mills.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations
1. Dimensions and Tolerances

• Responsibility: Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and precision instruments.
• Expectations:
  • Utilize calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in measurements.
  • Maintain detailed records of measurements and tolerances for quality control.

2. Machine Operation

• Responsibility: Set up, adjust, and operate all machines.
• Expectations:
  • Proficiently run Horizontal Boring Mills.
  • Ensure correct alignment of workpieces and materials before machining.
  • Regularly clean and lubricate machines to maintain optimal performance.
  • Understand and apply proper speeds and feeds for machining processes.

3. Tool Management

• Responsibility: Maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Expectations:
  • Have a complete set of personal tools suitable for machining tasks.
  • Ensure tools are in good working condition and organized for efficiency.

4. Safety Practices

• Responsibility: Prioritize safety in all work activities.
• Expectations:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  • Actively promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.
