A leading eCommerce brand is scaling their product matching team. They're hiring for a Lead Fullstack Engineer that can execute quickly and guide the team with Springboot and React. Applicants must be local to Chicago but offers ample work from home.

This Lead Engineer will use Java, Springboot, React, Kubernetes, Databricks, and AWS services to build a brand new web based workstation to be used by Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers. Hitting the ground running with React is a must, as it will be expected that this person can help other team members get up to speed on React as well. • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with modern practices in large scale environments
• 5+ years of Professional experience building scalable software with Java and Springboot
• 2+ years of significant React experience
• Must be proficient enough in React to guide others
• Experience leading a team from a technical perspective
• Strong communication
• Interest in AI and Data
  
  

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong AWS skills
• Databricks and Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Streaming experience with tools like Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, etc.
