Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to work with our Water group in our Massachusetts or Rocky Hill, CT office locations.
What you’ll do:
- Preparing water utility designs including preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction for water treatment, pump station, storage, and water main projects.
- Familiar with water system planning and assessment, hydraulic modeling, design and construction administration for water supply, treatment and distribution systems
- Must have experience in dealing with multiple projects and clients along with managing technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects.
- Flexible workload, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members including delegating work to entry level staff
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, REVIT (preferred)
- PE is preferred or ability to become licensed within twelve (12) months
- Strong writing and verbal communications skills
- Strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license
