The Center for Access to QDROs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization who's mission is to close the justice gap by providing access to high-quality QDRO products to nonprofit legal services organizations, self-help centers & qualified individuals in financial distress. The organization focuses on addressing the complex legal and financial issues that arise in pension division during divorces, ensuring that retirement benefits are handled efficiently and fairly.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Entry Level Python Developer at the Center for Access to QDROs in Riverside, CA. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), programming, and databases. The role involves working on-site to support the organization's innovative approach to pension division and valuations. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and API development essential.
Qualifications
- MINIMUM of two years of experience with Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and/or Programming skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently
- Understanding of financial or legal processes is a plus and/or knowledge of the Docassemble platform
- Amazon Web Services knowledge also a plus
