About the Role:

The Construction Project Engineer will assist the project manager and project team with a variety of tasks, including project documentation, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, demonstrating various skills, and effectively prioritizing tasks to ensure project success.


Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Management:
  • Assist with daily on-site management to ensure project success and adherence to project plans.
  • Support the project team in supervising construction activities and coordinating with subcontractors.
  • Project Documentation and Control:
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information) and submittals.
  • Oversee the RFI and submittal process to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Scheduling:
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure that tasks are progressing as planned to meet anticipated deadlines.
  • Assist in adjusting schedules as needed to address delays or changes.
  • Job Cost Accounting:
  • Process owner billings and handle project-related accounting issues.
  • Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with the budget.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager is required.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with construction rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
