Niomon is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who has a passion for solving hard engineering problems to build our API products for innovative fintech companies. This is a leadership role who will actively participate in product design and management. This position will work closely with our Chief Software Architect to deliver a robust and scalable system that enables the future finance.
Responsibilities
- Lead designs of major software components, systems, and features.
- Develop advanced security and cryptographic systems.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Mentor and train other team members on software development.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educated in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest and ability to solve hard Engineering and Computer Science problems.
- Interest and ability to learn other coding languages and advanced technology as needed.
- Strong knowledge of fundamental Computer Science subjects such as algorithm, data structure, cryptography, programming language, or computer architecture.
- Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience architecting and developing large scale design.
- Experience working with one or more from the following: Security and Privacy, Blockchain, Infrastructure, Mobile Application Development, Embedded Systems, Frontend Development and/or similar.
- Experience working with server-side web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, or Express.
- Significant development experience in React, Vue.js, Angular, ember.js, backbone.js or similar.
- Work in a fast-growing and fast-paced product development culture.
- Work with an excellent team of engineers including ex-Apple engineers and world-class hackers.
Locations
Niomon is a distributed team with physical presences in London and Hong Kong. Most of our job positions are open to remote / work-from-home candidates. UK work visa sponsorship is available to employees from Hong Kong.
