Bridge Project Engineer

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer to support bridge projects in the Springfield, IL area. The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager and Estimator with administrative functions associated with Project Management and Estimating to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Attend project turnover meeting (estimating to operations)
• Assist in generating/maintaining project schedules
• Attend job meetings
• Assist in setting up/managing submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
• Enforce the company safety program
• Assist in completing all project plans
• Assist in preparing QA/QC plans
• Maintain and submit QA/QC records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in Construction industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
