About The Career

Property Intelligence Engineering is an innovation group within CoreLogic with deep roots in agile software development. We use Lean Product, User-Centered Design, and Extreme Programming (XP) practices to deliver value to our customers with very fast cycles.

This role will focus on leading engineering teams and working with leaders across the organization to drive next generation solution development across our Property Intelligence businesses. This role will oversee the ideation, building, and delivery of new products and services, with a primary focus on cloud marketplace delivery. You will engage closely with product and business leaders to achieve the business goals through technology and to ensure plans are integrated with broader corporate and/or functional strategies, budgets, schedules, and plans.


What You’ll Do

  • Embrace and exemplify XP Values (Simplicity, Communication, Feedback, Respect, Courage)
  • Drive the delivery of innovative, best-in-class data and analytics solutions through CoreLogic platforms, cloud, and data marketplaces such as Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, etc.
  • Manage teams of Software Engineers and Technical Product Managers to architect and design modern, enterprise software products and solutions.
  • Coach, train, and mentor direct reports, providing opportunities for employee development. Have full performance management responsibilities, develop goals and assign work to staff to ensure that broad and strategic goals and objectives are met.
  • Delegate assignments to subordinate staff. Staff may be in multiple locations (domestic and/or international). Responsible for coordinating efforts and meeting goals, staffing and schedule requirements across locations. Develop relationships in other areas/groups.
  • Authorize product iterations, approve designs and cost estimates for iterations, set priorities, administer budgets. Participate in long-range planning. Responsible for ensuring overall budgets, schedules, and performance standards are attained.
  • Participate in more critical day-to-day operational issues, remove barriers, and resolve issues.

Job Qualifications

How You Qualify

  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Seeking candidates with previous hands-on leadership experience, cloud and data marketplace solution design and delivery experience at scale (Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, Google/Amazon/Microsoft marketplaces), and external vendor oversight
  • 10+ years of experience in a software development, combined with direct management experience
  • 4+ years of experience building, leading, managing, and mentoring high-performance engineering teams
  • Expertise in products and features of Salesforce, Snowflake, and Databricks or related platforms
  • Proven track record of leading teams that have successfully built and launched products in highly scalable growth markets
  • Experience in building an organization within a fast-paced and highly regarded technology company, experience with leading transformational change
  • Proven track record in strategic technology planning for mid-term and long-term business objectives
  • Demonstrated understanding in how to create value through enterprise technology, data, and application architecture principles
  • Positive client engagement at senior levels, managing and navigating with peers and business line leaders.
  • High P&L acumen with proven appreciation for meeting financial commitments and delivering on time, on budget high value solutions.

Nice to Haves

  • Domain-specific industry experience in Real Estate, Insurance, Mortgage, or Lending solutions a plus
