Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Engineer to fill an open position with a leading grocer in the Cincinnati area. As a Data Engineer, you will be accountable for developing and delivering technological solutions that align with the business goals. You will analyze, design, and develop enterprise data and information architecture, emphasizing data as a valuable asset.

Responsibilities:

• Innovate and communicate data strategy and roadmaps to support project portfolios and business strategies.
• Define enterprise standards for data domains and solutions to facilitate streamlined integration.
• Drive digital innovation by leveraging new technologies to enhance core data assets.
• Develop migration plans to bridge the gap between current and future data states.
• Mentor team members in data principles and patterns.
• Promote the reuse of data assets and manage the data catalog.
• Lead activities to guide technological responses to business outcomes.
• Provide analysis and design tasks for data and information architecture.
• Develop target-state guidance for data and information infrastructure.
• Possess expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, and experience in Behavioral Data Analytics, particularly in Click Stream or Adobe Analytics.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data development and design.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale operational or analytical data systems.
• Leadership experience in building complex data solutions.
• Ability to think and contribute at a strategic level.
• Strong communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).
• Knowledge of network and data security architecture.
• Experience in driving change in data solutions and technologies.
• Knowledge in at least three of the following technical disciplines: data warehousing, big data management, analytics development, data science, APIs, data integration, cloud, servers and storage, and database management.
