This includes soldering, wiring harness construction, and mechanical assembly.Operate and troubleshoot electronic test stations and equipment. Equipment includes multimeters, oscilloscopes, computer test stations, and a cockpit simulation stations.Maintain hardware configuration control and equipment inventory. This includes operating a configuration and inventory database as well as handling the material tracked by the database.Job RequirementsAbility to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required.High School diploma or equivalent.An ability to solder electronics.An ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft electronic systems and components.An ability to assemble aircraft wire harnesses using crimping tools.An ability to use and operate multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic development tools.5 years minimum experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft electronics.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
