Job Summary
Randstad is looking for talented early to mid-level Structural Analysis Engineers to join our team supporting a Client in the space industry.
This position is remote and will support central time hours.
Job Duties -
The Structural Analysis Engineer will be responsible for performing detailed structural analyses to ensure the integrity and reliability of designs under various conditions. This includes conducting finite element analysis (FEA) using tools such as ANSYS to evaluate stress, strain, fatigue, and fracture mechanics. The engineer will perform static, dynamic, and non-linear structural assessments, interpreting results to guide design optimizations. They will also analyze tolerance stack-ups, perform hand calculations, and verify structural safety and performance against industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate analysis results into the design process is essential, along with documenting findings and presenting recommendations. Experience with NASA standards and familiarity with Teamcenter or other PLM tools is beneficial.

3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Structural Analysis Experience
- ANSYS Experience for Structural Analysis

- Space or aerospace experience
- Teamcenter experience
- Exposure to NASA standards 5020, 5019, 5017, 5016
- Experience with CREO
- Non-Linear Structural Analysis Experience
- Fracture Mechanics / NASGRO
