Lead Data Engineer

Title: Lead Data Engineer

Duration: Long Term Contract

Location: Charlotte, NC - (3 days onsite per week)

Rate: $75-78/hr on W2

Description:

• Senior resource (7 plus years of experience) with strong background in design and implementation of data frameworks and hands on experience building scalable data platforms on Cloud Platform.
• Must have strong Data Engineering experience with Google Cloud (GCP) platform and frameworks including Big Query (BQ), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google Dataplex, Dataproc, Dataflow and Google API offerings.
• Must have Hands on experience delivering end to end products with cloud services and cloud architectures at scale.
• Working experience building scalable data platforms on Data Lake/Hadoop infrastructure.
• Lead complex technology Cloud buildout and migrations to Google platforms.
• Build and enable cloud infrastructure, automate the orchestration of GCP cloud platforms, design and deploy service enablement solutions, and engineer patterns and landing zones for workloads in the cloud.
• Hands on experience with DevSecOps and SDLC tooling, CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins, Cucumber, Harness).
• Must have hands-on experience working on Unix platforms.
• Strong background building Data Warehouse and SQL/analytic tools (Dremio, Hive/Toad).
• Must possess excellent communication skills, ability to work with teams in various team zones.
