Additionally, you will conduct independent reviews of various calculations related to in-house design projects. As part of the design team, your emphasis will be on the construction and highway design aspects of both simple and complex district highway construction plans, ensuring their completeness and readiness for submission.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Successful completion of the Civil Engineer Trainee training program (commonwealth title); or Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; orFour years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an engineer-in-training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; orOne year of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Special Requirement: This position will require possession of a valid driver's license.Other Requirements:PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
