Position Summary

As a Mid-Level Software Developer, you will play a vital role in our team responsible for enhancing and maintaining our cutting-edge banking service platform. You will work closely with a talented group of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for our clean energy banking service platform.
  2. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using various technologies adapted by the engineering team.
  3. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  4. Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues, implementing appropriate solutions and optimizations.
  5. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Continuously monitor and enhance the security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the development workflow.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer/developer, preferably in a fintech or related software industries.
  2. Strong proficiency in React/React Native, Node.js, Postgres, distributed cloud systems such as AWS, MongoDB, Elastic databases.
  3. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
  4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and agile development methodologies.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and troubleshoot technical issues.
  7. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software within deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
  8. Passion for clean energy and sustainability, with a genuine interest in leveraging technology to drive positive change.
Compensation Range: $115K - $155K
