Adecco is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Operator in the Akron/ Green, Ohio Area. These positions are for 1st shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm and 2nd shift is 4:00pm - 12:30am with ½ hour for lunch.
Pays upto $24 an hour.
Position Requirments
Be able to determine the most efficient way to program and set up a part.
- Have a basic knowledge of the machine language or software system being used to create a CNC program.
- Have a basic understanding of the control and machine they are running or programming for.
- Know how to read and create a set up sheet and set the tooling for the part.
- Know how to transfer programs from storage/transport media into the machine.
- Know how to down load programs from the control to storage/transfer media.
- Know how to get a program from and store a program to the central storage server.
- Fill out inspection reports.
- Have a basic understanding of the language the control uses to program and be able to read a program and understand what the machine is going to do.
- Make determinations of cutting conditions and use the manual feed overrides to optimize them.
- Have the ability to communicate and get along with other employees, supervisors and upper management.
- Have an understanding of basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
- Know which measuring tool to use.
Qualifications
3 - 4 years CNC Programmer Machinists for the lathes and mills- REQUIRED
